Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a pick-up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a introduction, you will leave for Amboseli
National Park a journey taking approximately 4-5 hour drive through the Maasai
plains. Amboseli is located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and it is one of the
picturesque parks of kenya known for its large herds of elephant herds and stunning
views of Africa’s highest mountain.
You will arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch later afternoon go for the game
drive. On your game drive expect to see elephants across the open plains, as well as
lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and abundant birdlife around the marshlands. As
the sun sets behind Kilimanjaro, return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive or two extended drives (morning
and afternoon) depending on your preference. The day is devoted to exploring
Amboseli’s diverse habitats: acacia woodlands, swampy marshes, and open
savannahs. You’ll get close to the famous free-roaming African elephants seen
bathing or feeding in the wetlands.
Amboseli is also a great place to see hippos, hyenas, zebras, and an impressive
variety of birds such as pelicans, herons, and African fish eagles. In between drives
you can choose to carry your packed lunch or return to camp for lunch and
relaxation. Later in the evening enjoy the golden light of sunset over the plain.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha which is located in the Great
Rift Valley and about 6 hours away. The drive offers beautiful views of the
escarpments, agricultural towns, and volcanic hills. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time
for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you will spot hippos,
African fish eagles, and other waterbirds. Optionally, take a guided walking safari on
Crescent Island, a sanctuary home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impalas,
with no predators—making it ideal for walking among wildlife. Spend the evening
relaxing by the lakeside and overnight at a lodge or resort.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Samburu National Reserve
After an early breakfast, set out for Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya a
long and scenic drive (approximately 6–7 hours) through the equator town of
Nanyuki and the arid, rugged landscapes of the northern Kenya. Samburu is a
lesser-visited gem that offers a striking contrast to the southern parks.
Arrive in time for lunch and some rest at your lodge or tented camp along the banks
of the Ewaso Nyiro River. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in
Samburu, where you’ll search for the “Samburu Special Five”: Grevy’s zebra,
reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich—species only found in
northern Kenya. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve which is known for wild and
scenic landscape of palm groves, acacia woodland, and rocky outcrops. Early
morning and late afternoon game drives maximize your chances of seeing lions,
leopards, elephants, and cheetahs. The reserve is also home to crocodiles and
hippos in the river, as well as over 350 bird species.
You may also visit a nearby Samburu village for a cultural experience, learning about
traditional customs, beadwork, and nomadic lifestyles of the Samburu people. After a

Day 6: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey of approximately
5–6 hours. En route, enjoy views of Mount Kenya and make a brief stop at the
equator line. Lake Nakuru is known for its escarpments, acacia woodlands, and the
alkaline lake that attracts large number of flamingos and a variety of birdlife and
mammals.
Arrive in time for lunch at a lodge or camp within the park. In the afternoon, head out
for a game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the best places in Kenya to see both black
and white rhinos, and it’s also home to lions, buffalo, zebras, baboons, and the rare

Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

Reserve the drive of approximately 5–6 hours through the scenic highlands and
rolling plains of western Kenya. Arrive at your safari camp or lodge in time for lunch
and a short rest.
In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, one of
