Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Into the Heart of the Savannah

Distance: ~280 km

Route: Nairobi – Narok – Sekenani Gate – Masai Mara
This great Kenyan safari adventure begins with an early breakfast in Nairobi and
followed by a brief introduction with your safari guide. You board into a 4x4 Land
Cruiser and drive out of the capital toward the world-famous Masai Mara National
Reserve.
You will arrive at your tented camp or lodge just in time for lunch. After check-in and
rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara – Big Five Territory

This day starts with a game drive in the morning that is the magical time when the
wildlife is most active. After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day safari with a
picnic lunch packed for the journey.
The Masai Mara is renowned for its high density of wildlife including the Big Five –
lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. If you will be traveling between July and
October, you might witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, during the migration
over two million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross from the Serengeti into the
Mara.
Visit Mara River to get a chance to watch hippos and Nile crocodiles.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Flamingos & Forests

Distance: ~270 km

Route: Masai Mara – Narok – Mau Escarpment – Lake Nakuru
Leave Maasai Mara after the morning short game drive and breakfast and begin your
journey northward to Lake Nakuru National Park, this is a scenic drive that takes you
through farmlands, rolling hills and the Mau Escarpment.
You will arrive at your lodge or hotel by afternoon for lunch. Later, head out for a late
afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is known for its flamingos, both greater and lesser and a wide variety of
birdlife. It’s also known as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos with other
animals likely to be spot include; Rothschild giraffes, zebras, lions, and waterbucks
and many more.

 Afternoon game drive around the lake and forested areas

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli – Mount Kilimanjaro Views

Distance: ~410 km

Route: Nakuru – Nairobi – Emali – Amboseli
Today is a long but scenic drive south to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s
most visited safari destinations. You’ll pass through Nairobi, where you may stop for
lunch or coffee break, before continuing down the Mombasa Road toward Emali, the
gateway to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the late afternoon with the backdrop of Mount
Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short
game drive en route to your lodge.

 Road transfer via Nairobi to Amboseli
 Optional evening game drive (time permitting)
 Dinner with views of Kilimanjaro

Day 5: Full-Day in Amboseli – Giants Beneath Kilimanjaro

Start your day with a game drive early in the morning a perfect time to view and
enjoy clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is famous for its huge herds of
elephants walking across open plains, with Africa’s tallest mountain as their
backdrop.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the marshes, woodlands, and open plains of the
park. A visit to Observation Hill provides panoramic views of the landscape and its
wildlife.
Have your lunch somewhere in the bush and continue exploring the park before
returning to the lodge/ Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo – From Swamps to Red Earth

Distance: ~245 km

Route: Amboseli – Kimana Gate – Tsavo West or East
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey toward Tsavo, Kenya’s largest and
wildest conservation area. Depending on your preference and accommodation
availability, you may enter either Tsavo West or Tsavo East.
Tsavo West offers scenic lava flows, natural springs (like Mzima Springs), and lush
oases, while Tsavo East is drier and more open—home to the iconic “red elephants”
that dust themselves in the park’s rusty soil.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge to relax.

Route: Tsavo – Voi – Mombasa
After an early breakfast and one last game drive through Tsavo’s vast wilderness,
begin your journey to the coast. You’ll pass through Voi, a small town just outside the
park, and then continue along the Mombasa Highway, catching glimpses of the Taita
Hills and rural life along the way.
Arrive in Mombasa by early to mid-afternoon. Depending on your travel plan, you
can head to your beach resort in Diani, Nyali, or Watamu, or catch a flight from Moi
International Airport.
