Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
The safari adventure will begin in the morning with a pick up from your hotel or
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi by Bienvenido Kenya safaris guide/
driver. After a short briefing, you will embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift
Valley where you will enjoy escarpments, lakes and the plains.
You can have a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to have a panoramic view. Arrive at
your lodge or camp in time for lunch. Have a short rest and head out for the
afternoon game drive for game viewing as the sun cools.
During a game drive in Maasai Mara expect to see the Big Five (Lion, buffalo
,Elephant, Rhino and Leopard) Giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, waterbucks,
warthogs, baboons, aardvarks, serval cats, rare sable antelope, colobus monkeys
and more.
Return to your lodge/Camp for dinner and later spend time around bonfire
storytelling in your first night in the wild.
Day 2: Full – Day Game drive in Mara
This day will start with a early breakfast and set out with a packed lunch into the
Maasai Mara. Maasai Mara is known for its annual Great Migration beginning mid
July to October, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras
and antelopes cross the crocodiles infested Mara River to Kenya from Serengeti
National Park in Tanzania.
Search for the Big Five an other animals include Zebras, giraffes, wildebeests,
impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons, vervet monkeys and many more.
Enjoy a picnic lunch preferably under acacia tree or at some designated points in the
bush. Continue exploring the park in the afternoon as temperatures begin to drop ,a good time to spot predators before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight
stay.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru- Birdwatcher’s paradise
Leave Maasai- Mara after breakfast to Lake Nakuru National Park located at the
heart of Rift Valley. After travelling for 3-4 hours you will arrive at lake Nakuru by
early afternoon at your lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon go for your
game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park flocked by flamingos feeding on the algae
on the lake shores.
Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its great birdwatching with over 450 bird
species, it is also home to white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions,
leopards, zebras, buffalos, impalas, baboons, vervet monkeys and many more.
Visit the Baboon cliff viewpoint where you will have a panoramic views of the lake
and its surroundings. Makalia falls is a great place to visit especially during the rainy
season before returning to your lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park
Take a early breakfast and start your 356 km journey to Amboseli National Park, a
safari taking 6-7 hours drive. Amboseli is located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro
the highest peak in Africa. The safari adventure will take you through Nairobi and
onwards via Nairobi-Mombasa highway offering diverse landscapes from Highlands
to open dry plains .
Arrive at your lodge in Amboseli in time for lunch, check in to your lodge/ Camp and
enjoy the view of Mount Kilimanjaro if you are lucky to visit on a day with a clear sky.
Go for your lunch an set out for your afternoon game drive in the park. Enjoy seeing
large herds of elephants in the open plains and the Great Mount Kilimanjaro which is
best seen early morning and late in the afternoon. You can also visit the marshes
and Amboseli swamp which fed by the water from the snowmelt of Mount
Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge/ Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full-Day game-viewing in Amboseli National Park
Get the glimpse of the wildlife activity before the day break in the morning. You can
also get a clear picturesque view of Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peak.
Return to your lodge/ Camp for Breakfast before going out with your packed lunch to
explore the diverse landscapes in Amboseli from the lakebed ,wetlands to the
acacia woodlands.
Apart from the Amboseli elephants look out for buffalos, impalas, hyenas, cheetahs,
hyenas, giraffes, jackals, lions, leopards, rhinos, and a great number of bird species
including pelicans, kingfishers and Crown cranes among others.
You can enjoy the sundowner at some designated points before having your dinner

Day 6: Amboseli National park to Nairobi
Start you day with an early morning game drive to enjoy the sunrise over Mount
Kilimanjaro and get to explore the predators active in action .
After breakfast, begin you journey back to Nairobi where you are set to arrive early in
the afternoon.
Depending on your flight schedule, you may choose to be dropped off at your Nairobi
hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight or have lunch at
a restaurant or a hotel or visit Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust if time
allows.
