Embark on 5 day kenya safari tour with Bienvenido Kenya safaris from Nairobi,
Amboseli, Tsavo west, Tsavo East and Mombasa.
Day 1 Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your kenya safari tour will start with a morning departure from your Nairobi hotel or
Airport driving towards Amboseli National Park. The journey to Amboseli National
Park is approximately 208 km ,talking approximately 4-5 hours. The drives takes you
through Kenya’s scenic landscapes.
You arrive at your lodge / Camp in time for lunch after settling in, you embark on
your afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is
known for its large herds of elephants, big tuskers and the breathtaking views of
Mount Kilimanjaro. This makes Amboseli a great wildlife photography destination
with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
In the evening you will return to your lodge/Camp to freshen up ,get to dinner and
have a deserving rest .
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
The day will start by a game drive very early in the morning before the sun rise. This
is a great opportunity to see predators in action as they are active at dawn and to
get the best lighting for wildlife photography. Amboseli National Park is home to a
great diversity of wildlife including cheetahs, lions ,buffalos, elephants, giraffes,
impalas, zebras, leopards and many more.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and have the opportunity to enjoy the lodge /Camp
facilities. Capture the wildlife around the lodge or simply enjoy pool before having
your lunch and preparing for your afternoon game drive.
In the afternoon game drive, you will have the chance to visit some of the Great
wildlife viewing spots in the park such as the Observation Hill, swamp areas good for
game viewing and Lake Amboseli known for great birding safari destination.
Return to your lodge to refresh up and have your dinner in the evening before going
to sleep.
Day 3: Amboseli- Tsavo West National Park
After taking your breakfast ,check out from your lodge ,enjoy a short en route game
drive through the Amboseli and out through the Kimana Gate. The drive to Tsavo
West National Park is scenic as you will pass through the rolling volcanic landscapes
with a great chance of spotting wildlife along your way.
The distance between the parks is approximately 110 kilometres, taking an average
of about 2-3 hours.
You will enjoy a short game drive enroute to tour your lodge, check in at your lodge
settle before going for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on game drive where you will enjoy the diversity of wildlife
in the park . You will have a chance to visit Mzima Springs a spring with clear, fresh
water acting as the source of water for wildlife at the park. It is at Mzima Springs
where you will see Hippos and crocodiles with some monkeys in the park. Mzima
Springs attracts wildlife as it draws animals who visit for water especially during the
dry season. The park is home to leopards, lions ,buffalos, impalas, waterbucks,
warthogs, baboons, aardvarks, pangolins, serval cats, striped hyenas, wildebeests,
rhinos, giraffes, zebras and many more.
Another top attraction in the park is Shetani lava flow. The park is also good for
birdwatching with some of the notable birds include, kingfishers and eagles.
In the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 4. Tsavo West - Tsavo East National Park
The day will start with a morning Game drive to spot predators in action. Return to
your lodge for breakfast and depart Tsavo West for Tsavo East National Park. Exit
Tsavo West National Park through Tsavo gate ,crossing Tsavo river and enter Tsavo
East through Manyani gate.
Arrive at Tsavo East National Park in time for lunch. Check in to your lodge before
going for lunch and prepare for afternoon game drive.
Tsavo East National Park is known for its great red dust elephants bathing in the
Galana River. Its other tourist attractions include Yatta Plateau which is the world’s
longest lava flow stretching 290 Kilometres.
Visit the Galana River and the Lugard falls popular for viewing hippos and
crocodiles. Mudanda rock is the other top attraction in Tsavo East National Park
popular for game viewing especially during the dry season.
Day 5: Tsavo East National Park - Mombasa
Start your final day with a early game drive where you might be lucky to spot an
active hunt . It is in the morning hours that predators are more active. Some of the
notable animals in Tsavo East National Park include Lions , hyenas, cheetahs,
maneless lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, buffalos, baboons,
aardvarks, pangolins, serval cats, rare sable antelope, colobus monkeys, warthogs,
and many more.
Return to your lodge for breakfast and check out for the drive to Mombasa.
Mombasa is the second largest city in kenya after the capital Nairobi . It is a coastal
city rich swahili culture and known for its white sand beaches and the warm blue
waters of the Indian Ocean.
You will travel through the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway (A109) . You will have a
chance to see the Great Taita Hills. The journey takes 3-4 hours to arrive at
Mombasa in the midmorning.
Depending on your time available and the time of your flight. You can visit other
tourist attractions in Mombasa Town such as Fort Jesus, a 16 th century Fort and
UNESCO World Site, Mombasa Old Town, Diani Beach, Nyali Beach, Mombasa
Marine Park or Mama Ngina waterfront.
Drop off at your hotel or at Moi International Airport Mombasa for your flight in the
afternoon.
