Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

pick up at your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a quick
briefing by driver- guide, the group boards a 4x4 land cruiser carrying a capacity of 6
to 7 people or a customised safari minivan with a pop-up roof which makes it ideal
for wildlife viewing and photography.
The journey to Maasai mara takes approximately 5-6 hours covering a distance of
approximately 203 kilometres. The road journey provides a great kenya safari
experience from the bustles of Nairobi city to the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift
Valley .
Arrive at your lodge or camp in time around midday for check in and lunch. Most
safari camps for group safaris are comfortable tented camps with bathrooms,

see animals at their most active — hunting, grazing, or playing.
After a quick breakfast or coffee, you’ll enter the park around 6:30 AM to catch the
golden morning light and the potential for predator action.
Maasai Mara is also home to all the big five ,elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards,
rhinos, warthogs, elands, bushbucks, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, zebras, topi,
eland and a great number of bird species too.
After dinner, relax by the campfire, where the air is filled with laughter, stories, and

Day 3: Morning game drive and Return to Nairobi
Wake up early for one final sunrise game drive inside the reserve. It’s your last
chance to track the animals you may have missed and enjoy the soft golden light
that bathes the landscape. Some of the most striking photos are taken during this
hour.
You can also enjoy a relaxed morning at the camp, if the group prefers, — enjoy
your coffee while watching zebras graze nearby or take a walk with your guide
around the unfenced property.
Return to the camp around 8:30–9:00 AM for a full breakfast, followed by check-out.
Begin your return journey to Nairobi by mid-morning, with expected arrival in the city
between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions. You’ll be
dropped off at your hotel, the airport, or a central location in the city.
